David is a Partner and Co-Founder of the firm. He has over 32 years of experience in advising and investing, which includes all aspects of corporate finance, restructuring, M&A, capital placement and strategic advisory to companies in a broad spectrum of industries. David's creative financial structuring expertise provides clients with practical "market tolerant" financial solutions, ensuring wide capital market acceptance. He also has extensive experience working with distressed or underperforming middle market companies as well as creditors both in and out of bankruptcy. Moreover, David leads as the Chief Restructuring Officer for the firm’s restructuring clients.

Prior to co-founding Triton, David was Co-Founder, Senior Managing Director and Executive Credit Committee member of GMAC Business Credit - Structured Finance Group. Before that, he was Senior Vice President, Midwest Area Manager at Heller Financial, Inc. - Corporate Finance in Chicago.

David received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a master’s degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management with majors in finance, marketing and management.
